Reuben Smith’s Tumblehome Boatshop is located on Route 28 in the Southern Adirondacks (northern New York State). With convenient access from I-87 (the Northway), Lake George, and the many smaller lakes throughout the Adirondacks, Tumblehome Boatshop is ideally located.
The boatshop always has any number of beautiful, historic, and classic wooden boats on the shop floor at a given time, and we keep busy year round.
Tumblehome Boatshop conducts regular and ongoing events that are open to the public. From lectures, to slideshows, to shop tours, community involvement in the activities of the boatshop are part of our mission and commitment and enable folks to see and learn about boats on the shop floor.
To stay informed of boatshop events, including monthly Saturday Shop Talk open house events, be sure to subscribe to our email list using the black form at the very bottom of this page. Or you can register for an event using the contact form here.
